About Ewing Woodworks
Welcome to Ewing Woodworks!
My name is Ryan . Woodworking has been in my blood for as long as I can remember—it’s my passion, my creative outlet, and the way I bring custom pieces to life. Today, alongside my wife, Mellyssa, and our young daughter, Ilaria, we’ve turned this craft into a family mission with a simple goal: using woodworking to help people in need.
Driven by Purpose & Family
Ewing Woodworks isn't just a shop; it's a family effort built on strong values. While Mellyssa and Ilaria might only make occasional appearances in our videos, they are at the heart of everything I do. They drive every decision I make, and our ultimate goal is to raise Ilaria to see what it looks like to put your hands, skills, and heart toward helping others.
Every custom piece of furniture built in our shop takes one of two paths:
- Direct Furniture Donation: Giving a custom build directly to a family or individual in need.
- Profit Donation Builds: Selling the piece and donating 100% of the profits directly to someone going through a tough time.
Whether it’s traditional joinery or precision CNC work, every project—even built out of simple pine 2x6s—is crafted with purpose.
How You Can Support the Mission
When you purchase gear or plans from Ewing Woodworks, you aren't just buying a product—you are directly supporting our family's mission to give back.
Here is how you can get involved today:
- Rep the Gear: Grab an official Ewing Woodworks hat or t-shirt to show your support and spread the word.
- Build it Yourself: Check out our digital project plans to build your own custom pieces at home while supporting the channel.
- Join the Inner Circle: Become a patron on our Patreon Community. Your monthly support provides the baseline income our family needs to keep stepping into the shop and dedicating our builds to helping others.
Thank you for visiting, supporting our shop, and being part of the Ewing Woodworks family. Together, let's make a real difference, one build at a time.
Crafting with purpose, giving back with Ewing Woodworks.
